The main benefit of the technology is that it is scalable. And it is well-suited for very different applications.
As an example, we can take the Bioreactor manufactured for the rehabilitation center in the State of Alabama, USA. The center generates just 12,000 GPD / 45 m3/day, equivalent to load from 250 people.
The effluent requirements, besides CBOD5 of 10 mg/l and TSS of 10 mg/l, included Total Nitrogen also of 10 mg/l.
To meet the requirements, the technology with the simultaneous nitri-denitrification process was applied.
